IMPRINT Forest & Art Camp SUMMER 2025!

Making art in nature.

Join art educator Anne Erlewine and outdoor educator Tara Habeck as they team up for a special three-day summer art camp designed for children to explore both nature and creativity in a supportive, outdoor setting.

2025 Summer Art Camp Details

Dates: August 12, 13, & 14
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Ages: 6-14
Cost: $280
Location: County Farm Park

Each day features a different art focus:

  • Day 1: Clay Creations
  • Day 2: Printmaking Adventure
  • Day 3: Painting in Nature

 

Day 1: Clay Creations
Explore the mealleable world of clay! Campers will discover how clay from the earth becomes art, making pinch pots, coil pots, and small sculptures, and experimenting with botanical imprints and textures.

Day 2: Printmaking Adventure
Dive into the world of printmaking! Campers will create their own stamps, experiment with natural materials, and print their designs to take home.

Day 3: Painting in Nature

Campers will explore drawing inspiration from the natural world and discover the basics of watercolor painting through hands-on activities.

Pickup & Drop-off

Drop-off is at the Medford Road entrance to County Farm Park. 

Pickup is at the main entrance to County Farm Park (off Platt Road).

Inclement Weather

In the event of thunder, heavy rain, gusting ind, air quality alerts, or high heat index, class may be canceled and a makeup will be held on Friday.

Tick Safety
  • Dress your child in long pants tucked into socks.
  • Use bug repellent as desired.
  • Perform regular tick checks after camp.
  • Wash outdoor clothing in hot water or dry on high.

Participation Requirements

This art camp is geared towards children ages 6 to 12. Campers need to have appropriate self-regulation to participate in group activities in the great outdoors. Feel free to reach out to discuss accommodations your child may need.

Age Range

We welcome campers of all ages and will prepare a multi-tiered curriculum tailored to each age group, ensuring everyone is challenged and engaged at their own level.

Scholarships

The program is establishing a scholarship fund. Any resources within that fund are volunteer driven.
